Helicopter Trial Lessons
Our trial lesson experiences are a fantastic idea for those new to helicopter flight. Want to enjoy a once in a life-time experience? Want to surprise someone with a fantastic gift? Or considering training to become a pilot but aren't quite sure yet? Then a trial lesson from Northumbria Helicopters is just what your looking for!
What's Involved?
Our trial lessons are a great way to gain your first hands-on experience of
flying a helicopter. Our trial lessons can be taken in either of our Robinson
R22 or Robinson R44 helicopters.
The trial lesson includes a half hour ground briefing session, where you will be given a few pointers on the helicopter and how it works. Then its time for your first flight with one of our CAA Approved Flying Instructors.
Our trial lessons are available as either a half hour or hour session. And if you decide you want to train for your Private Pilot Licence (H), this will be included in your required flight training time.
Further Information
At the end of your experience you will receive a certificate as proof of your achievement. This is a great photo opportunity, so don't forget to bring your camera!
